About Us

My husband Kevin and I created Brinsden Bulldogs in 2006 when we purchased our first 2 show quality Bulldogs. Previously we shared our home with our 2 pet quality Bulldogs and had fallen madly in love with the breed. Eventually we decided it was time to try the show ring, once we had been to a few shows we had the bug and now we exhibit regularly and breed occasionally; having produced our first 2 litters in May 2008.

Brinsden Bulldogs is situated on 10 acres in rural West Auckland. We share our home with our 9 year old daughter Kyla, our Bulldogs, Chopper the Chihuahua, our Bull Terrier "Spike", "Paris" our Boston Terrier and our 3 Cats. 

In September 2008 we imported our first Bulldog "Embolden Montblanc" (Titan) from Embolden Kennels in Australia in an effort to bring new blood into New Zealand and improve on what we have. Titan is co-owned by our good friend Kay Neale of Sittingbull Kennels and together we have been successful in gaining Titan's NZ Championship title.

September 2009 signified a new beginning for us when our second import arrived "AUST CH Embolden Simply Divine "(Diva)". She is co-owned by her breeders, our good friends Narelle and Rick Taylor of Embolden Kennels in Australia. We are thrilled to have been given the opportunity to add this beautiful girl to our kennel and in March 2010 she produced her first litter.

Our focus is on improving the breed and all of our breeding dogs/bitches have been fully x-rayed with favourable results.
